​Rules and regulations
 

  • Registration for a course is binding unless otherwise agreed.  When purchasing a course, the Right of Withdrawal Act does not apply as it does when purchasing goods. All agreements must be made in writing.
     

  • We do not offer trial classes for each class/semester. Opportunity for trial class is arranged separately by the school at specific times.
     

  • The registered person is responsible for ensuring that payment for the course fee is received by the correct deadline. Invoice can be sent upon request beforehand. Course payment is normally due by the first week of class (please see your registration email for further details).
     

  • Participants are not allowed to use choreographies or exercises that are taught at the dance school for private or commercial use without this being cleared with the school and instructor.
     

  • Oslo School of Burlesque is not responsible for injuries in connection with training or loss of valuables. Remember that you have your own responsibility for valuables.
     

  • If there are too few registrations for a course, the course may be canceled. In case of cancellation, we will help you find another suitable course.
     

  • Should the participant want to drop out of registration, this needs to be done in writing at least 7 days before the course in question starts, and need to be recieved and approved in writing by the school.
     

  • In the event of the participant dropping out of the course after the course has started, the fee still needs to be paid in full and is non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
     

  • In the event of long-term illness making the participant unable to participate for the majority of the course, the course fee is refunded from the date of sick leave. Sick leave is confirmed by sending us a medical certificate. Course fee is not refundable for shorter illness, travel or conditions that are beyond the school's control and force majeure.
    If classes cannot be completed due to infection control rules, classes will be postponed or done online during the relevant time period.

     

  • We at Oslo School of Burlesque do our utmost to ensure that you have a fantastic burlesque experience. Our professional instructors ensure that the courses are of the highest quality at all times.

Privacy and GDPR

 

  • Information that is processed about course participants is the name of the course participant(s), postal address, e-mail address and telephone number.
     

  • Information is processed in accordance with the Personal Data Act § 8 ​​and §9 and GDPR Articles 6 and 9. All personal data is automatically deleted 5 years after the end of the customer relationship.
     

  • Our customers have the right to access information we have stored about them, the right to have information changed / deleted and the right to have information ported if necessary, cf. Personal Data Act Chapters 3 and 4 and GDPR Chapter 3.
     

  • Inquiries regarding privacy, access, correction and deletion are directed to the general manager who is responsible for processing in the Oslo School of Burlesque by e-mail osloburlesque@hotmail.com
