KIKI CHÉRIE

Seen as a matriarch in the Norwegian Burlesque scene, Kiki teaches both beginners and intermediate/advanced students in the Art of the Tease.

Kiki's unique approach to teaching burlesque is truly inspiring! Combining her dance expertise with a deep understanding of psychology from her degree, she empowers her students to not only master the technical aspects of burlesque but also to develop a profound appreciation for their own bodies and identities. Her classes are more than just dance lessons; they're a journey of self-discovery and empowerment, set to the rhythm of this timeless art form.

Madam Purpur was born at the very first semester of the Oslo School of Burlesque back in 2015, and has grown to be a very versatile performer in the Norwegian Burlesque scene.

 

She is a graduate of the Bårdar Academy of Musical Theatre and is also one of the producers of Bootyswing Burlesque at Salt.

Madam Purpur's diverse talents have not only graced stages across Norway, London, and New York but also enriched the world of burlesque with her unique Sing n Fling style. As a producer and an educator, she continues to foster the art form, offering students a chance to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of burlesque, blending dance, theatrics, and the art of storytelling.
