KIKI CHÉRIE

Seen as a matriarch in the Norwegian Burlesque scene, Kiki has mentored many performers, both local and international awardwinners, and teaches all levels in the Art of the Tease here at the Oslo School of Burlesque. In her classes you get to experience both classic and neo burlesque, as well as fandance and heels technique.

Kiki's unique approach to teaching burlesque is truly inspiring! Combining her dance expertise with a deep psychological understanding from her degrees in Applied Psychology and Dance & Movement therapy, she empowers her students to not only master the technical aspects of burlesque but also to develop a profound appreciation for their own bodies and identities.

Doris Dekay became a student at the Oslo School of Burlesque in 2022, and during the spring of 2026 she was training as an assistant teacher to headmistress Kiki Cherie. In the fall of 2026 Doris is taking over the Newcomers course, and is more than capable to welcome all of our new burly students into this fabulous community.

Doris has a bachelors degree in musical theatre from NSKI, and has since her solo debut in 2023 captivated audiences with her fabulous blend of musical theatre and burlesque, combining sultry striptease with live singing. Doris had her international debut in 2025, performing in Las Vegas with GLCC where she was awarded Burlesque Legend Liza Jourdan's Choice Award, and most recently performed at the New Mexico Burlesque Festival 2026.

Novelty Starr is an international award-winning burlesque performer with over 10 years in the industry, and is a very well-respected artist in the Norwegian community.

She has a bachelor's degree as a makeup and hair designer and has worked on many of Norway's largest productions in film and TV, including Beforeigners, Home for Christmas and Sulis 1907.

Here at the Oslo School of Burlesque we're so lucky to have her drop in to teach us her secret ways in stage makeup and wig design.

Oslo-based Alma Adore is a latina lady who loves to undress. She is the founder of Norways biggest stripper agency for freelance strippers, Seduction.no, as well as having a background from both Norwegian and European clubs.

 

With heels in hand, she is a strong voice for the right to undress in safe work environments, and her artistry aims to help build bridges back to the roots of burlesque and celebrate it's founders - sex workers.
