Service Description
To the POC performers looking for their lineage, the newcomers searching for icons who look like them, and the allies asking how to better support diversity in our local scene: this is for you. We are providing a safe space to engage with trusted material from burlesque historian Bella Sin. Whether you’re looking to see yourself reflected on stage or looking to become a more informed, culturally-conscious artist, this history is essential for us all. We are hosting a free watch party for Bella Sin’s deep dive into Decolonizing Burlesque History. Bella Sin has spent years researching the "hidden" archives, from Mexican teatros to the Black performers who headlined under the harshest conditions. It’s one thing to see a show, it’s another to understand the shoulders we stand on. Let's learn together. Thank you to Bella Sin for your hard work, for everything you do for the burlesque community, and for greenlighting this event. There will be tea and coffee and some snacks served, feel free to bring your own preferred (non alcoholic) drinks if you like! Let us know if there is a need for extra accommodations and we’ll try our best to make this as accessible as possible.

Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Policy: Registration/booking is binding. Once you have registered and thereby accepted the terms, you are obligated to pay the accompanying fee. All booking requests must be submitted, confirmed and have full payment recieved through our official website or by contacting OSB directly through email prior to the session taking place. 2. Rescheduling and Cancellations: The right of withdrawal does not apply to timed leisure activities such as courses, performances and workshops (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act §22 m). If you cancel your session, the fee will not be refunded and sent invoices must be paid. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance by email. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. We unfortunately do not offer refunds, unless a doctors certificate is made available. In this case, the cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the booking, to be eligable for a 50% refund. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. Should the main instructor be prevented from leading the course, for example in the event of illness or other unforeseen events, a qualified substitute will be hired to maintain the continuity of teaching. We make sure that the substitute is well acquainted with the course content and has the right expertise, so that the goals of the session is followed. Should this not be possible to acheive, then the session will be offered at another date within reasonable time. In the event of a cancellation of the session by the school, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of the paid fee or the option to transfer to another session. 3. Liability: Oslo School of Burlesque is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of property during sessions.Participants are advised to have their own insurance coverage. 4. Intellectual Property: All course materials provided belong to the instructor/OSB, and is available for personal use during session only and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
