FAQ
1
Practical information
Where can you find us?
We are located at Kyrre Texnæs Studio, across the street from Vulkan Flerbrukshall.
Course information:
During our longer courses, we share additional information and videos in a dedicated Facebook group. You’ll receive the link after the first day of the course. Only registered participants who have paid the course fee will be added to the group.
If you don’t use Facebook but still want access to the information, please contact us by email and we’ll make sure you receive what you need.

Getting changed:
Changing rooms are available at the far end of Vulkan Flerbrukshall where you can change prior to class, the entrance is right in front of the studio.
We are allowed to enter the studio when the class starts, so please come finished changing, or as close to finished as possible, as there are no changing rooms inside the studio. Please don’t enter the studio before your scheduled class time, as another class may still be in session.

Illness:
We want you to help us reduce the risk of spreading infection. If you have any symptoms, you must stay home. This applies to, for example, symptoms of flu, covid, stomach bugs, etc., since we will be in close contact with each other during the classes.

We appreciate if you send us a message if you are sick or for some other reason will not be attending the class, then we know you're ok and we will see you next time.
In the event of an instructor's illness, we will try to have a suitable substitute for the class. If this is not possible, you will be offered the opportunity to make up the lesson at a later date.

What wear and what to bring
Come as you are; comfort first, sparkle optional.
For most classes, we recommend:
-
Comfortable clothing you can move in: Leggings, shorts, a soft top, or anything that lets you stretch, bend, and shimmy with ease.
-
Heels (optional): If your class includes heels technique, bring a pair of stable heels you feel safe in. Dance heels are great, but everyday heels work too (we recommend a 5-7 cm height). Barefoot or socks are always welcome.
-
Layers you can play with: A shirt, cardigan, robe, or scarf can be fun for peel technique and character work, but not required.
-
Knee pads (optional): Some classes include floorwork, it will be written in the class description if you're recommended to bring them. If you have knee pads, bring them. If not, no stress.
You don’t need much, just the essentials:
-
A water bottle: We move, we sweat, we hydrate.
-
A positive attitude and curiosity: Truly the most important things you can bring.
-
Props (only if your teacher asks for them): For example gloves, fans, or tassels. If a class requires props, you’ll get a message in advance.
