Take Up Space Are you ready to take up space? Burlesque is all about feeling yourself, letting go of self-consciousness, and showing up as your most unapologetic self. This workshop explores the tools you need to truly own the stage. We’ll dive into facial expressions, body language, movement, and powerful poses, discovering how even the smallest gesture can make a big impact. After a fun warm-up and a series of playful exercises, you’ll put it all together in a dynamic choreography set to upbeat music. To add a little extra sparkle, we’ll also incorporate a small prop; such as gloves, a boa, or another agreed-upon accessory (you will recieve more information about what to bring when registering). Come ready to play, experiment, and most importantly: take up space, be seen, and enjoy being you. Need: Comfy clothes or anything, that makes you feel good and confident; heels recommended, gloves, shirt/kimono to take off depending on preference About the instructor: Meet Rana Hava — a Berlin-based award-winning burlesque performer bringing together classic glamour and the bold spirit of neo-burlesque. Her acts are all about alternative aesthetics and music choices, playful surprises and storytelling — shifting effortlessly from silly and cheeky to dark, dramatic and deeply emotional. Performing across Germany, Europe and the UK since 2022, Rana has appeared at festivals, theatres, clubs and stages of all kinds. With a love for theatricality, individuality and finding intention in every movement, her approach to burlesque is playful, expressive and always a little unexpected.

Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Policy: Registration/booking is binding. Once you have registered and thereby accepted the terms, you are obligated to pay the accompanying fee. All booking requests must be submitted, confirmed and have full payment recieved through our official website or by contacting OSB directly through email prior to the session taking place. 2. Rescheduling and Cancellations: The right of withdrawal does not apply to timed leisure activities such as courses, performances and workshops (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act §22 m). If you cancel your session, the fee will not be refunded and sent invoices must be paid. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance by email. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. We unfortunately do not offer refunds, unless a doctors certificate is made available. In this case, the cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the booking, to be eligable for a 50% refund. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. Should the main instructor be prevented from leading the course, for example in the event of illness or other unforeseen events, a qualified substitute will be hired to maintain the continuity of teaching. We make sure that the substitute is well acquainted with the course content and has the right expertise, so that the goals of the session is followed. Should this not be possible to acheive, then the session will be offered at another date within reasonable time. In the event of a cancellation of the session by the school, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of the paid fee or the option to transfer to another session. 3. Liability: Oslo School of Burlesque is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of property during sessions.Participants are advised to have their own insurance coverage. 4. Intellectual Property: All course materials provided belong to the instructor/OSB, and is available for personal use during session only and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
