4 weeks of Fan Technique with Kiki Chérie Level: Open/Beg. Time: Mondays 18:00-19:30 (12 Aug - 2 Sept) Learn the foundations of fan technique in a supportive space — from basic grips and pathways to expressive movement, musicality, and confident stage presence. Step into the world of fan work and learn how to turn two simple props into pure stage magic. In this technique‑focused class, you’ll build clean lines, strong accents, fluid transitions, and the kind of presence that fills a room. We explore grips, pathways, musicality, travelling patterns, and expressive movement — all while developing strength, control, and confidence in your own style. Whether you’re brand new to fans or looking to refine your performance skills, this class gives you a supportive space to play, practice, and grow. Expect a mix of drills, guided combinations, and creative exploration that helps you make the fans feel like an extension of your body. Schedule: ☆Wednesday August 12 (19:30-21:00) WEEK 1 — Foundations, Grips & Pathways Focus: Technique basics, safety, confidence, clean mechanics ☆Wednesday August 19 (19:30-21:00) WEEK 2 — Lines, Shapes & Flow Transitions. Focus: Making the fans look fluid, and expressive. Strong shapes, traveling and transitions. ☆Wednesday August 26 (19:30-21:00) WEEK 3 — Accents, Dynamics & Drama. Focus: Performance quality, musicality, and expressive choices ☆Wednesday September 2 (19:30-21:00) WEEK 4 — Power Moves, Layering & Mini‑Choreo. Focus: Putting it all together with confidence and flair. Traveling patterns, turns and performance polish. *Please remember to book Fan Rental if needed for your session. Cancellation Policy
1. Booking Policy: Registration/booking is binding. Once you have registered and thereby accepted the terms, you are obligated to pay the accompanying fee. All booking requests must be submitted, confirmed and have full payment recieved through our official website or by contacting OSB directly through email prior to the session taking place. 2. Rescheduling and Cancellations: The right of withdrawal does not apply to timed leisure activities such as courses, performances and workshops (cf. the Right of Withdrawal Act §22 m). If you cancel your session, the fee will not be refunded and sent invoices must be paid. If you need to reschedule your session, please notify us at least 72 hours in advance by email. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees. We unfortunately do not offer refunds, unless a doctors certificate is made available. In this case, the cancellation must be made at least 72 hours prior to the start of the booking, to be eligable for a 50% refund. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. Should the main instructor be prevented from leading the course, for example in the event of illness or other unforeseen events, a qualified substitute will be hired to maintain the continuity of teaching. We make sure that the substitute is well acquainted with the course content and has the right expertise, so that the goals of the session is followed. Should this not be possible to acheive, then the session will be offered at another date within reasonable time. In the event of a cancellation of the session by the school, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of the paid fee or the option to transfer to another session. 3. Liability: Oslo School of Burlesque is not responsible for any personal injury or loss of property during sessions.Participants are advised to have their own insurance coverage. 4. Intellectual Property: All course materials provided belong to the instructor/OSB, and is available for personal use during session only and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.
